Call for Papers

Further to the success of the previous IMVC Conferences in the field of Vision for Academy and Industry in Israel, we are pleased to announce The 6th Israel Machine Vision Conference and Exhibition on Image Processing, Video and Computer Vision (IMVC) which will take place on March 24th, 2015 at the David Intercontinental Hotel in Tel Aviv.

The IMVC 2015 Conference will include presentations by leading Israeli researchers in image video processing and computer vision. The Conference will feature parallel tracks (three per day), which will discuss the various aspects of machine vision, from the development to advanced analysis, image understanding and analysis of motion and peripheral vision.

The parallel tracks will allow researchers and engineers from the academy and industry, as well as leading companies to present their own work.

The lectures can include the topics listed below, but are not limited to them.

  • Natural User Interface and Gestures
  • Vision Computation Challenges: Big Data and Parallel Computing
  • Mobile Vision Applications
  • Vision in Autonomous Systems
  • Medical Applications
  • Classification Solutions for Vision
  • Image Formation, Optics and Sensors
  • Machine Learning
  • Video Search and Retrieval

Authors who wish to present their work are invited to submit a description between 1-3 pages, with an emphasis on originality and innovation. All submitted papers will be reviewed by a team of researchers from the industry and academy, according to the criteria of quality, relevance and originality.
